I thought it was scary that Americans spend as much in overdraft fees as we do on fresh vegetables. Either we bounce too many checks, or we don't eat enough greens!

Very interesting list. I'm still amazed that some people spend without thinking or being aware of balances in their account. I did take acceptation to one thing she said about spending 45 minutes fighting a $3.00 charge on a cable bill. Not fighting small charges is how a lot of companies & banks make money, not to mention if could be a indication of fraud. Its the principle of the matter and they figure customers are too stressed or tired to take the time to correct it.
