    Book Cases

I have to purchase some book cases because there are so many books loose in the house.

The bad news is that Ollie's has sold out of book cases.Sad

I will try to find them at a good price over the next few months.

We've always had good luck with book cases at Walmart.  They're a good price and actually pretty sturdy.  When we moved last month we needed bookcases and managed to get two five shelf ones and a matching entertainment center for under $30 each.  They need to be assembled, so something to consider there, but the assembly was easy. Just took the typical hammer and philips head screw driver. :)

I own a hammer and that kind of screw driver.

    I will check out Walmart.

    Thanks.

If you're not fussy about appearances, a cheap book case is to get some boards at the lumberyard and stack them on cinder blocks. I did that for a couple of years until the money was there to buy something nicer.

It was a decorating style referred to as "Early Poverty".

I did that but used spray painted coffee cans back when coffee cans were sturdy metal instead of plastic. I used it for a long time that way.
