    thank you.

    Love chili fries!

Today is no spending and I am actually coming out ahead!!

Got a very generous $100 Target gift card in the mail today from my mom's friend.  Will be using it for daipers and formula.  Also made about $60 selling some china on consignment!  Will put that $60 directly to debt before it gets absorbed into regular spending.

Tonight, being creative . . . I have potatoes, tomatoes, peas & spices that I will make potato curry with.  Think I have a can of garbanzo beans I can add too.  Have naan bread in the freezer and basmati rice in the pantry.

I'm kind of enjoying the challenge of getting through each day with as little money spent as possible.  Have to admit that this is the first pay period in a LONG time that we were well within budget.  Woohoo!

DMC, I am so sorry but you also use a grilled chicken breast on the Chicken little fries I forgot to type that in.

No money out today.  Planned to go to the grocery store, but whenever I went outside, my allergies went crazy.  I stayed inside the rest of the day.  Tomorrow and this weekend will be different. Going to lunch with friends, and Dh and I are going out of town Friday nite and stay with friends.  Also will be getting paid from babysitting.

Thanks Linda, I usually always have chicken breast on hand.

Tonight the canned chili was good with the home fries, I made sure we each watched our portion size, but gave dd much more than I, she is a growing girl.  She can finish the rest tomorrow for breakfast with yogurt to start her day.

I pulled some hotdogs out of the freezer for this weekend to work with.

No money out today except what I had to give to DD School.  I plan on having a whole lotta no spend days now folks!

;-)  Jenn, it sounds like you are doing GREAT!!!!  HOpe your boy feels better soon!

No spend is huge on my priority list today and the rest of the month.  I have been looking in my pantry and freezer to see what I have and I can make it for sure.

    NO SPEND today.

    sueellen-very impressive!!  Good job!

OK-Yesterday was the start of a new pay period.  I had $3 and change left from last paycheck.  That was after paying all the bills and covering all expenses/purchases this pay period.  Even including the get together we had last weekend.

I will admit that it's been awhile since I have been very sure we stayed to our budget.  Seems like I've been constantly moving money back and forth  from savings.  Feel pretty good!  I know these no spending threads have helped me A LOT.  I'm game to keep them going!

By the way, that total doesn't include any money that I earn, that we don't include in our budget, it just goes straight to debt and savings.

So today is not a no spend day-Fall Festival tonight, I'm taking $20 and the ones I have in my wallet to spend.  Tomorrow is fairly inexpensive, birthday party so need to pick up a little gift at some point.  Sunday will be a lot of money out-will be finally getting to that grocery shopping that I really need to do.  I plan to shop for the rest of the month on Sunday.  We will need milk though at some point.  It will be nice to have more food around!

Good job guys, I really love this.

OMGosh, no spend. It was hard because I got off work early to go to doctor appt.  No office visit pay either, imagine that!

Anyway, on the way home I am thinking, its friday night, I don't have my DD I should stop for something, a glass of wine, maybe some sushi...

NOPE!  I just finished my dinner, two hotdogs and saurkrout and some ice tea!  Far cry from sushi and Saki, but hey, it didn't cost me anything and I can look forward to hopefully another no spend weekend.  Off to a good start.

Whoa, it can be so hard.
