    Affordable Themed Bedroom

I liked some of the suggestions from an article on the main site this week, Affordable Themed Bedrooms.

Has anyone ever tried some of these ideas?

When my daughter was younger, she wanted daisies in her room. I found a daisy comforter at Walmart, and bought an extra set of sheets to make her curtains.

I printed out some daisy clip art in large sizes and put them in frames. She wanted white frames, but I only had brown wood. So I just spray painted the frames.

I also printed out lots and lots of little daisies and glued them all together to make a poster-sized collage.

We painted her furniture and sponge-painted daisies on it as accents.

That sounds really cute. I have some small Disney princess posters and calendar photo pages I want to frame for my daughter's room. I haven't gotten to the frames yet, some are hanging without so far.

    That sounds good too.

Thanks for sharing some of these ideas. It gives me more to consider for my own decorating.

With my youngest and last child being six, I am out of touch with what is available for infants. Is dinosaur themed crib bedding available? I imagine a solid color one if available would work well with some added touches.
