    General Angel Food question

We are new to Angel Food, having only participated in Aug, and now Sept (pickup was yesterday). I have been ordering 2 signature and 2 produce boxes each  month. I was thrilled with the salad ingredients in August, and disappointed that Sept really didn't have any, unless you count cabbage for coleslaw. For those of you who have more experience with AF, what is the produce box typically like come Winter? I am in CT and our gardens were a disaster this year, and with the end of Sept, comes the end of most gardens and sharp increases in fresh produce, one of the reasons we turned to AF. We only have potatoes, carrots, onions, beets, various varieties of beans left. I have noted that the produce box has consistantly contained 2 types of potatoes, onions, cabbage, carrots each month. Those tend to be the cheaper choices, which is fine, as we use them as stapes here. I'd appreciate your sharing your thoughts. THanks in advance!Smile

Sorry I can't really tell you. I got the produce box once last summer when they first started the produce box.

That has been fairly common all year. Apples and oranges were common over the winter last year in addition these things.
