Last night was pan-grilled porkchops, field peas with snaps, and collard greens. Homemade granola bars for dessert.

Tonight will be grilled chicken, tortelloni on sale from Wal-Mart, and a green vegetable (probably broccoli). More granola bars for dessert.

    Re: What was for Supper?

Last night was a rare night for dh and I.  Friends took our son to a UT football game for his 18th birthday.  So we got a movie and had sausage and eggs for dinner.  In the middle of the movie, ds came home, so hyped up from his game exp. that the movie got put on hold.  (Not a great movie anyway)  We listened to ds for about 45 min.  and dh had fallen asleep.

We went to Chili's for lunch with our dd and dgd.   With the 5 of us our bill was $53.  I was shocked.  We had 2 sodas, and 2 teas, dh and ds shared a rib plate and dd had soup and 1/2 sand. and I had a chicken salad.  We shared 1 appetizer of chips and dip.  We did have a good time with our dd and dgd, but that was a lot of money.  When we eat at our fav. mexican food place, it usually runs with tip about $30 - $35.  We probably won't do that again for a long long time.   I thing next Sunday after church we will go to the park for a picnic if the weather holds out.

Tonight, we will be having grilled chicken with rice and green beans and for dessert I told my ds I would make him brownies.

wow what a lot of responses.  Tonight we had Teriyaki chicken wings, rice , jello, and canned peaches.  For desert we have Apple pie or Peanut Butter fingers.

Last night was jambalaya and tonight was spaghetti, which was NOT on my menu plan, but the headcold won't leave and I was too tired for more than that.  The nice part -- we've not had plain ol' spaghetti in ages and it was sooooo good.
The whole point of turkey is to get to the pie.

Vegetarian steamed buns. Lightly scrambled eggs, chives, tofu, in unbleached/whole grain all purpose flour. A tad of oil to scramble the eggs, a little more with the stuffing overall.

Ate a couple bites of leftover chicken stirfry, because I was hungry from the toning dvd I just did.
