    Winter squash is coming on

Does anyone have any really good recipes for winter squash? Acorn, butternut, spaghetti, hubbard... it's that time of year when they're just about ready to pick. I picked the last acorn squash so I have a pile to use up. I don't have a good place to store them, so I'll have to eat them in the next month or so.

and it's delicious here in mid-Michigan!   We like just plain, maybe with a dab of butter and salt or butter and maple syrup, but just plain is best in our book!

I like acorn and spaghetti squash both just plain, too, with butter and salt, but I'd like to try something different, since I have quite a few. (Acorn squash that is; my spaghetti squash didn't do much this year.)
