they have october ready now! It looks okay- more lima beans-yuck.... what do you guys think? ( sorry dont know how to link things yet)

Thanks for posting Ivmy2boys. I like the idea of the fish sticks again. I am sorry that you don't like the lima beans. I am happy we are getting the lima beans again. I will order for october. I am thinking four signature boxes and maybe a special.. I will let every one know after the first of the month what I do order.

its' not that I dont like them I just dont know what to do with them.. I can't just serve it like I would corn or somethin, it would not get eaten....I think Its the name lima beans thats so off putting to the family- the weirdos!!  gotta love em anybody have any ideas for hiding lima beans?

October Angel Food Menu

I am disappointed to see so many processed food options again or items that are difficult to cook in a variety of ways in one box. The kids will enjoy having more of the stir fry and the fish sticks again. I would love getting both routinely but would prefer more raw meats balancing them out for health and variety.

I likely will order four regulars and two produce. I am not sure about the meats, those depend on the upcoming sales and if I can stock enough to skip the meats from AF.

 

I know we order but not a clue what yet ... DH said we going to ge a couple moret Thanksgiving boxes found up this morning a friend oldest daughter has cancer she due to deliver her 3rd child..  DH said let do Thanksgiving for them

i was disappointed to see all the processed food too, but do love the beef fajitas and chicken nuggets.  Mama & i liked that Chinese stir-fry ok, but sister didn't like it too much.  We'll order a chicken box special.  That will save quite a bit for us.  Probaby get 1 sig. 1 chicken special.

Our Sept. online ordering had closed Monday by noon, but then they reopened it until Friday the18th.  Hope that isn't a bad sign (like trying to get more orders because the orders are down or something). I'm thinking about ordering another sig. box, but not sure.

I found a lima bean casserole recipe that I've been wanting to try.  I'll look for it & send it to you.  If you like to make homemade veggie soup you could throw in a handful or two of the beans.  :)

That is a great idea LindaC. I want to try to make more soup this fall.
