I just discovered this and I think it's super cool.  (It will also show you how nerdy I am....  LOL)  In the new version of firefox, it will load the second page at the bottom of the first page as you scroll down.  So instead of clicking the "next" button to go to page 2 or 3 of a long thread, I just keep scrolling down and there it is!  How nifty is that!!!  This is extremely helpful when it's a thread I've not read, but that lots of people have posted on....  I'll need to try this out on some other websites, too.

 Yes, that's a plug-in.  I had it for a while but I didn't really like it.  It didn't always work right.  However, they may have made some changes.
