Pat I have starte drinking loose tea ...  I use my tea cup .. (its 54 years old Mother had before I was born ) and I must say it a deeper richer and wonderful at it warms my soul

Agreed! Loose leaf tea is so much better than tea bags. The price of convenience is often a loss of quality and tea is a good example.

You can order loose green and black teas from Frontier Herb and Spice, as well as herbs and tea mixtures.  Look for a coupon code. I've also gotten some deals off eBay.   If you have a septic tank, grow your mint over the drain field.  Only the roots touch the fertilizer.   Or if you have a gutter drain or a hose bib which gets plenty of water, grow a mint variety there.

All of you hot-climate stretchers can grow Lemon Verbena, which tastes exactly like lemon drops and makes a great tea additive or stands well on its own.  What I truly miss here are Mexican Tarragon--as many Latinos as we have here, still no-one sells it--mixed with Anise Hyssop.  Instant root beer tea.

And sassafras digging time is here for most of you--when the days are warm and the nights are cold, but not freezing.
