    Kellogg's Fuel For School Promotion

Not sure if this is nationwide or not but just wanted to tell you guys about the Kellogg's Fuel for School promo if you haven't seen it.

Basically, it's a $10 rebate from Kellogg's when you buy 10 qualifying items (included are Kellogg's cereals, Keebler, Sunshine, Eggo products, Nutri-Grain & Special K bars, Pop Tarts, Rice Krispies Treats, Kellogg's Fruit Snacks, 100 Calorie Right Bites & Morningstar Farms products).  You have to buy 10 items and then send in the rebate form to get a check in the mail.

The stores here have been partnering with the promotion and have Fuel for School Promo shelves up.  My store did a promo this week-they discounted the qualifying items to $2.98 each and gave a $10 instant rebate at the register when you buy the 10 items, bringing the cost to $1.98 each.  With the additional $10 mail in rebate, the cost drops to .98 each-pretty good!

It was not heavily advertised here so I thought I'd let you guys know in case it's available in your area too!  I got 5 boxes of cereal, some treats for DS lunch, some boxes of nutrigrain and special K bars, all for a final price of .98/piece.  If there are sales/coupons for Kellogg's items in your stores, the extra discount really combines to be great savings!

We have that here too! If I can use Q's and hit the sales, my goal is under a dollar each average! I am glad it is a big variety to choose from.

We have a deal this week for the cereals/snack bars - if you buy 5, they are 1.67. In addition, if you buy 5 poptarts, they are $1 each, so that's my 10 items. I have a total of $5 in coupons, bringing my total OOP to $5.35. Then, I submit the rebate for $10 and I make $4.65! I'm not a huge fan of poptarts, but The Boy will eat them. I may donate a couple of boxes if I can't get all 5 boxes in strawberry (which is all he'll eat). I'm loving Kelloggs this week! :)

I clipped all my Qs, but the stores here are focusing more on the monthly P&G insert right now.  I'm hoping next week to see some good sales on kelloggs products so I can take advantage of sales + Qs + rebate and bring most items to under $1 each.

Kroger is doing their buy 4 P&G products and get $4 off instantly at the register.  I'm going to use this deal with cat food and maybe 1 other item.  I don't buy a lot of P&G products and we have lots of shampoo and other personal products stashed away right now.

Kroger update!!!  I just got home from my weekly shopping trip and Kroger will be having a good deal this Saturday only.  Kroger had a bunch of signs posted all over the store stating that this Saturday only (August 8) all Kelloggs products would be 1/2 off with store card.  Now, I did notice that they jacked the prices up.  Example: the standard size boxes of cereal were marked to $3.09, which is higher than normal.  Cut that in half, add coupons and a rebate and you can get a seriously good deal.  The prices will vary based on what you want to buy.

I was doing the math and at $3.09/box cut in half with coupons and the rebate... well, you could get 10 boxes of cereal for just pennies....
