    Re: Prayer Circle

My daughter Violet's friend Morgan broke her arm, the week before school- it's the one she writes with!

And my friend DawnLynn has reoccurring cancer, she is back in the hospital tonight.  She has three young children, well,  the oldest is 12, he's in class with my son- she has been very sick, in intensive care with pneumonia  this summer- the problem tonight is she has blood clot and needs a filter put in?

I'll be having a bake sale (what else) on Sept 16th at church,, hoping to get some matching funds from Thrivent and be able to send the family a check to help with incidental expenses. I'm lining up my fellow bakers!

DawnLynn has a very strong faith.  She's very ill and will need prayer support for several weeks.

Dear Tracy, Does Morgan only have what's typical of young people, a slight fracture that is most likelly to heal quickly?

Meantime, let us put in heartful prayers for DawnLynn, that she recover speedily & completely from her cancer & her concommitant illnesses.  And may Tracy's special bake sale bring in enough, with Thrivent's help, raise enough to give DawnLynn's family some meaningful cash towards their incidental expenses.  And let us say, Amen.

    Re: Prayer Circle

I have a minor prayer request- I have a bad next door neighbor, the bus stops at her house, she is on the corner.  Once again, for the second year in a row, she has put up a sign, this year it says, this is not a sidewalk, do not walk on the grass.  I think the first 5 feet of your yard is public property, but regardless, she would rather little school children stand in the street than step in her yard!  I called the cops to ask about the regulation, they said they could send an officer out, I declined.  Regardless, I am feeling very hateful towards her tonight.  I don't like feeling this way, I am wishing she would die or move, very unChristian! You must know, in the past she's called to report weeds in our yard, our dog barking, she told dh to his face that she knew ds was sexually abusing his sisters because the girls were yelling, and that she wanted to call the humane society but didn't when the kids tied a sled to the dog- the dog is a very sturdy fat big Corgi, the kids are light little preschool girls, the dog was in no danger.

Please pray for a more generous spirit or forgiving nature for me-

    Re: Prayer Circle

Prayers said, Tracy.  I had an issue with a bus stop here at my front door years ago.  The house we bought had been vacant many months and the kids had gotten used to sitting on the porch waiting for the bus, using the mail box to hold their books, coming around the side of the house when it was cold and windy, etc.  They didn't harm anything, it was just that it was our property now and I didn't want high school kids smoking, cussing, yelling and being all over my yard at 7:00 in the morning!  I simply called the bus company and they moved the stop down the street about 1/2 a block.  One call's all it took.  If the kids are in harm's way, someone definitely needs to call the school bus company - just my experience, maybe it'll help...Liz

Dear Tracy, Read Psalms.  King David often called down invectude on his enemies, but evey single Psalm turns into a paen of praise for the help of the L-rd.  G-d understands us in bad times as well as in good.  People who ae under a lot of stress naturally respond with less patience than they would otherwise.  As you know, you have my prayers every day!  Forgiveness works to relieve the phsycical symptoms of anger.  I will pray that you can forgive.  And, your neighbor sounds a little over the top, anyhow!

I feel better today, thanks for your prayers.  I am trying to get the bus stops changed.  My neighbor is just a fruit loop.

I want to post my own sign- "Feel free to walk on publicly owned first five feet of grass.Sadly, this is not a sidewalk, but we would love it if your children and pets and you stayed safe and out of the street on our lawn."    But I will not, in the interest of harmony.

Dear Tracy, That is good therapy for you, to write down what you wish to tell the kids waiting for he schoolbus, & any other interlopers.  I encourAge you to write more down, however much you would never share them with anyone else.
