Katrina's 2-year anniversary will be on 8/29 if I am not mistaken.

What pain this storm & Rita have caused!  Even more pain due to the mistaken & slow governmental responses.  If the government cannot respond to disasters, what would happen if G-d forbid another terrorist act occurred, kinehora (Yiddish for "may the evil eye be averted")?  We know Brandy's plight, but it has been multiplied by truly thousands of families.

Let us set aside time on the 29th (if that is the right day) to pray for the victims.

OK, VT63, but it's a little awkward to pray for "VT63's friend."  If you could give either your or her first name, it wuold be more convenient, but if you find that question offensive, we'll pray anyway.

Let's all pray for Michelle/CinnamonHuskies & her family, as they deal with DH's being laid-off.  And, may the L-rd grant them the wherewithal to make their next mortgage payment.  And let us say, Amen.
