I'm embarassed to say that in 18 years of h/sing, we never came up with a name for our school!  I never needed one and so never got around to it.

Tonight I'm ordering Laura's diploma, earned thru a correspondence school, and in addition to their name on the diploma, they want to put our homeschool's name - oops!  Can you all help?

 A note, our last name is very unusual and would look funny (plus take up most of the diploma...) so I don't want to use that.  I like having the word 'homeschool' somewhere in it, though.  I know Laura won't want it too smarmy, but I'd like something Christian in it as well...

And tell me yours while you're at it, just to make things interesting...Liz 

 We use our street name.  __ Academy.  All the streets in our area are named after rocks/stones so it goes along with the wise man building his house upon a rock story.  We use that verse as our key verse.

That sounds nice!  We're near a lake and I thought about using that somehow, but nothing has clicked yet...  I'll think on yours awhile, thanks!  Liz 

Naming it after your city, street or that lake would work if you think your last name doesn't fit well.

We were once Bayou Dragons Academy. I wanted to change it but can't decide on exact terms for a new name.
