    Re: Frugal Stain Treatments

I use Dr Bonners Castile soap. It is frugal for me. I buy a gallon and it will last me for up to 3 years. I use it full strength on stains. Works on DS cook coats that can be black with soot from cleaning. I use it to clean kitchen counters to keep bugs away, on cat for fleas,  make a spray for bugs on plants, shampoo out clorine in hair. so frugal in that I use it for lots of things. You dilute it different strenghs for different jobs. Babs

Moisten a bit of Borax into the stain, rub, and wash as usual.
