    4th of July Plans ?

How are you celebrating the 4th of July ?

I am going to purchase steaks, burgers, sliced cheese, buns, Pringles, ice cream, and the ingredients for party mix.

I will most likely go to the nursing home on the 4th and eat with Mom.

I also have a slew of murder mysteries from the library to read.

I'll also watch tv. With some luck there will be some good shows on DirecTV plus movies.

I will not have any fireworks.

Been debating this one and will probably decide last minute ...either

    a) sit at home and do nothing like I tend to do

    or

    b) go down and watch the fireworks over the river and check out some of the talents at the festival

    not too much really planned.

well we don't have the 4th but  july 1st is Canada Day.    I need to go shopping so I think I will pick up some top sirlion steaks for 4.99 a lb. always deals thing time of year.

not 100% sure what we are doing but the village museum is free on canada day so I think the family will go there. We do it most years.    maybe go see transformers. maybe get the inlaws over for dinner. will fiqure it out.

Greeley Stampede is in full swing here, and we have a 4th of July parade, so I'll go to that. I'd like to take in a rodeo, but probably won't get to this year. I might drive out and watch the fireworks display.

Not as frugal as some of you, but this is our family vacation this year.  We're renting a hotel room on the 3rd and the 4th and swimming, eating junk food, watching cable and hanging out with my family.  The cost of the hotel room for all 5 of us, full breakfast included for two days is a little over $150 (which I think is a pretty good deal!).  Anyways, we are looking forward to our little vacation:)

Sorry for the blank post! Hit my keyboard on accident!

We are having a BBQ early in the day and then swimming at my inlaws and watching fireworks from their neighborhood/yard. We don't go to the city firework show as it is crowded, not enough restrooms and you have to be bused in or park a couple miles away. With 2 small kiddos, does not sound like much fun. So we are sticking close to home!

Well the nursing home is having the picnic lunch on Friday instead of on Saturday. I was informed this morning by the Charge Nurse that Mom wants me to come. So....I will go there on Friday.

I'll be meeting my friend at Red Lobster on Friday also, but we'll meet later than we'd originally planned.

This means that on Saturday I can pig out on party mix at home.
