Ramen Noodle Salad
1 pkg (3 oz) ramen noodle oriental soup mix
1/4 cup butter
1 cut walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 head romaine lettuce, washed and torn
1 16 oz pkg of fresh broccoli flowerets, chopped
4 green onions - chopped (optional)
Salad Dressing:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
whisk together - set aside
Break noodles into pieces. Melt butter in pan over med. heat. Add noodles
to pan saute till lightly brown. Add nuts. Toss noodle/nut mixture with greens. Pour dressing over all
and toss again. Serve immediately.
If I'm taking this somewhere, then I keep everything separate until it's
time to serve.
