IIRC PN is for things like violating the Sabbath and other big deal but won't hurt others infractions.

So, a doctor can get called in on a difficult or serious case, I could drive someone to an emergency room, etc.

One can even steal if it will save a life.  The violations of Shabbat that you cite do not extend to the outside limits of the pikuach nefesh doctrine.  However, you are CERTAINLY right that health concerns REQUIRE that Jews "break" the Sabbath.  Love in Him, Deb  PS  What does IIRC mean?

Look, Truepeacenik, at the way that I type, so often (not now for soem reason, ah there!) inverting letters & repeating letters.  My ekyboard isn't set up to type slowly enough; I've trried in Task Panel disability section to make it slow enough, but to no avail.  Love in Him, Deb

ah, I thought "I didn't recall correctly to check" was a play on "if I recall correctly."

Try putting the mouse and keyboard on the slowest settings. I'm frightfully impatient, and I'm only 3/4 of the way up.
