Hamburger and Hot Dog Bread Loaf Pans

I have been searching on line for loaf pans to make hamburger and hot dog buns.  I can't find what I want within the price range I want...  would love to find something at the dollar stores or Sal.Army, but no luck.  Anyone have websites I can search?  I am looking for loaf pans that make 6 or less buns at a time and no more than $10-$15.

Karen K  I make mine and just make them up in the bread machine cut into 6 equal balls. Roll into buns and put on a greased sheet to rise.

I used to see pans like that in the King Arthur Flour Catalog. These days the pans they carry are very expensive.

Have you done a Google or looked on eBay ?

I know the former Colonial Williamsburg Bakery Department Head Chef. He said that they weighed the dough for all their breads. That's how the professionals do it.

I have looked on line for some time but the only thing I find is too expensive with the least quantity of 24.   It's just me and hubby, I don't cook or bake anything in that kind of quantity anymore.  I was hoping for a easy and cheap quick fix to my problem.  I'll keep looking but it sounds like the best way to deal with it is to weigh it.

I looked on King Arthur. They have a pan for New England hot dog buns. Now, I want one. Cant afford it but maybe would be a good thing to save for....dont really need it but would be a nice toy This one makes 10 buns.Babs

That site was one of the first ones I looked at, more than I want to spend.  Oh well, thought I would ask the question.  Guess I'll have to do the professional thing and get the scale out!

    Thanks everyone for the input.

I am going to start making my own hamburger buns. I want to save $$$ also. Besides, I feel sure that I can make them for less than they cost at grocery stores.
