    May gardening check list

I found an article on MSN that was interesting, May Gardening Check List.

Are you planting any of the things on this list?

I have a fairly large front yard garden.  I personally have found that it is easier for me to focus on only a few items in my garden.  So I plant sweet potatos, garlic, and a few tomato plants.  Good keepers for the winter.

An additional thought about the check list.  Now is the time to be sure that you have the right garden hoe for the job you want to do.  I found this list on line - I diddn't even realize how many types of hoes there were before.

At the very bottom of the page they have a tool selector guide.  I can't wait for it to stop raining so I can use my new grub hoe.
