almost free snowman craft for xmas

I am one of those people who starts xmas plans in July so bear with me, I have never posted before so hope this is correct.

I am currently making this craft as xmas gifts for about 20 relativesand have found it time and cost effective. Most of the supplies I scrounged.

You get a large glass jar (restaurants get pickles in them) I asked at a local restaurant and they gave me 12 and said to pop by anytime I wanted more.

Invert and glue a rose bowl over the mouth of the large jar, spray all over with fake snow.

Paint a cheery snowman face on the rose bowl (or use stickers). Make a scarf and toque out of leftover socks or knit if your real creative (I bought baby scarfs and toques at yard sales for 10 cents each). Paint buttons on his chest (or glue real buttons) and you are done. They look so good on a mantel or as a centerpiece. Total cost for all 20 $6.

$4 on spray snow, $1 on toques and scarfs and $1 for craft paint
