I tried to upload an avatar.   Do I need to link it to a url like in photobuckets?   All i did was upload a photo from my hard drive?   I know that on some other forums for me to have a photo in my sig I needed to have a url for it to link to.

Just wondering as I wanted something nicer than a gray face  ;)

Thanks Pat - I did check enable avatar and did upload, update and save.....but when I go back into my profile I don't see anything there - enable avatar is still checked off.   Now I also saw it can take up to 10 minutes to update so I'll wait a bit more and see.   I used one of the sample photos from my laptop - perhaps it is too big....

I'll see what happens, double check the thread you referred me to and let you know if I'm still lost.
