I get tired of thinking about what I'm OK to eat and what kind of exercise I should be doing LOL! I think I'm getting obsessed.

I had to add some sugar back into my diet because I just did not feel good for 3 weeks with just splenda and asartame stuff. Still managed to keep my calories at 1310 yesterday and 485 so far today. Had an hour brisk walk and Curves workout yesterday. Today will be a walk later this afternoon after errands.

I know I'm not supposed to eat after 6 or 7 pm, but why does my stomach growl at night when I don't?!

Re: Losing Weight in 2009

I always loved that old Weight Watchers favorite--brown rice cooked in fat-free Italian dressing. You can also cook it in beef bouillon with rosemary, and garlic, or puree carrots and onions with curry powder and use it as a sauce on the rice. If you can find black rice in your area, it is great but pricey. Oriental stores have it. Where, oh where, is the brown Basmati or brown jasmine rice?

My diet is just sprouted in the back flower bed, behind the dumpster of all places. Leaf lettuce, romaine, spinach, rainbow chard, and green onions. I've planted sugar snaps but they are holding back. Frost tonight--I hope that little enclave and the dumpster-windbreak provide enough shelter. If the frost doens't get the garden, the tenants probably will, even though I've promised them some cherry tomato plants and a split on the jalapenos.

Re: Losing Weight in 2009

Cutting back as much as I can when I can. I think I am going to weigh in tomorrow morning. I haven't for awhile, but I will switch back to doing it on mondays. I missed my opp. this morning.

Today had fruit, yogurt, cereal bar and a bowl of bean soup. I ate some french bread but omitted any butter, so that was good. I have a salad for afternoon snack with vinagerette dressing and only a 4th of an avocado, all else fresh veggies, mostly lettuce.

Tonight probably make some ham and brown rice for dinner. That doesn't sound very good does it. The ham does but not with brown rice! Oh well, its what I have.
