All before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners...

God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body!

God's Pharmacy!

Amazing!

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... And YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them)
.
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Oranges , Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body

People hang their laundry around here all of the time. I think it's charming...ugh! What is this world coming to?

Having just read the article...at least some states are considering laws to give people the right to do it. I thought it was already a right! I always knew there was a reason I didn't ever want to move into a housing sub division...sheesh! You can't hang your laundry to dry, but you watch people air their dirty laundry on reality TV all of the time. My husband is in outside sales which means that he takes clients out for lunch and dinner on a regular basis. Of course, these expensives are covered by his company BUT he must complete an expense report and turn it in to bookkeeping to be reimbursed. This would not be a big deal if he would just do his expense reports on a weekly basis. Problem is, he HATES to complete these reports and hasn't done one in a month! Right now, his company owes us over $1,000!!! I have offered to do this report for him and he puts me off saying "I will do it tomorrow" problem is, "tomorrow" never seems to come.

I gave him a final warning this morning! I told him that we didn't have enough in checking to last the rest of the week and I REFUSE to pull any money out of savings because he hates to do expense reports! I can't hold embarassment of the debit card being declined because it's tied to our savings. If we overdraw then it comes out of savings....along with a $10 fee. I also reminded him that when "Mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy!

The story was basically about businesses that make tons of money by taking advantage of the poor, such as certain car dealerships, checks-for-cash, car titles-for-cash, rent-a-centers, etc. It gave the example of a woman who had bought her first car with no money down. It was a 1999 model, had 102,000 miles on it, and cost over $7000 with over 24% interest. She wasn't made aware of the what the actual price would end up being with that interest rate. Her payments were $150 every two weeks, but after three months she turned the car back in b/c she couldn't afford the payments. The magazine did an investigation into this car dealer and other businesses and found that most buyers end up defaulting on their loans. The dealer makes money and gets to resell the car.

Someone might say, "Well, that woman should have done the math and calculated what the true cost of her car would be." The point is, this was her first car and she was so excited, not because of having a material possession but for merely having transportation to get to the store and to work. With no money for a down payment at a reputable dealership and no credit with which to secure a loan, this was the only option she felt like she had.

When my brother was a teenager he had a part-time job at a rental center. He eventually quit because he couldn't stand to work in that environment anymore. He said that they would deliver furniture and electronics to the poorest sections of town to people who didn't seem to understand that they were paying $2/week for 52 weeks for a lamp that they could have bought outright for much less. (That's just an example)

One of the most fascinating books I've ever read is Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich, about her experiment at working and living on poverty level wages. She touches some on the big bullies who bully those who seem to have no other choices.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

1)Honey mustard. Melt some butter & add honey & mustard (I use grainy mustard or Dijon). Pour it over the chicken in a baking dish. Bake until done (30 or so minutes at 350 degrees).

2) BBQ chicken. Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken in a baking dish & bake until done.

3)Chicken casserole. Cut up the chicken into bite size pieces or use whole skinless & boneless breasts and put in a baking dish. Mix soup (cream of chicken, celery, or mushroom) with sour cream or a little milk to thin it. Add cooked mixed veggies to the chicken. Top everything with a box of Stove Top Stuffing (you make it up first). Bake for 30-40 minutes at 350-375 degrees.

Loveday

Did you get the flooding I saw on tv ?

Tuesday November 17 $$$ Stretching

How are you stretching $$$ ?

Suddenly doubled my teenage boy population!

Ds #1's friend is currentl between jobs...and homes. He has been staying here since last Wednesday and has been looking for work. (He's graduated) His mom kicked him out and his dad took him in, but he lives an hour away and his kid living with him cramps his single lifestyle so the boy spends most of his time here.

Now we have begun taking in a friend's teen boy on the weekends and any days when he doesn't have school, because his stepmom was put in jail for driving while drunk with his 2 yr old step sister in the car...at 3 times the legal limit. Dad works 5 days a week driving truck so hes only home on Sundays and Mondays. So this boy was coming home every day to an empty house and on the weekends too....add to that he just moved up here in August from his mom's home in Virginia and hasnt made many friends yet at his new school. Not a good situation. So he will be home alone T, W, Th and with us F,S, and part of Sun. We will have him over Thanksgiving too as his dad doesnt get that off of work. Supposed to be until just before Christmas when the stepmom gets out of jail, but if she has to go to a rehab (she has previously and obviously it doesnt work for her) we may have longer. Hes a real shy kid and barely talks but enjoys being with my boys and the other friend that has recently resided on our couch.

My house is barely big enough for the 4 of us, let alone 2 more boys!

This weekend was good though because dh had trenches to dig for our new sptic system and 4 boys digging helped alot! But goodness the food they can go through!

This is a sudden, stressful change, but I feel bad for these young men.

VNW

I found Aurora in thefunny pages again this one really resembels her temperment http://comics.com/9_chickweed_lane/2009-11-14/

Monday November 16 $$$ Stretching

How are you stretching $$$?

Sunday November 15 $$$ Stretching

How are you stretching $$$ ?

Things I'm Thankful For

I'm thankful for my library. What were his reactions to beef? How did you confirm the allergy? DIL has been having allergy problems for several years. She has had different test but no real results. Recently , she had a bad reaction after eating beef. Has stopped eating it and feeling much healthier with no symptoms. Her symptoms had been swelling on face and in throat, itching on face and neck. Just curious what info you may have on this. It's the newspaper for the Peninsula and the Middle Peninsula of Virginia. The Virginia Beach/Norfolk paper is The Virginian Pilot. Richmond's paper is The Richmond Times Dispatch.

Some people won't get their electricity back on again until Monday, according to what I've read in the newspaper and heard on tv.

According to my security alarm monitoring people, Richmond got a lot of rain. They didn't tell me what the winds were like. All they said was that the alarms went crazy for the different security systems.

I think some of the wetness has eased up in my yard now.
