I read that there is a pumpkin ale and athat if you use it , you get the pumpkin taste, I am going to look for that . Maybe bake it for Thanksgiving. I am thinking of doing a beer bread basket. you could buy disposible bread pans at the dollar store, bottle of beer and make the mix in a bag, Print off the instructions. Beer bread is just self rising flour, sugar and the beer. Most people dont know that and to buy the mix is very expensive Then add a jar of homemade jelly. What do you thing? I wouldnt give it to people that have an alcohol problem or would be offened but I am thinking that it would work for some people.
This might be a northern/southern difference, we have a stack of those blankets in the family room, the ones you see for $5 at Walmart, everyone grabs a fleece blanket and maybe a little pillow all winter when we watch movies. It would be cute to line the basket with a fleece throw, but would also increase the price. One nice thing is it is kind of a substantial item for $5 or whatever it costs.

Yes, we have to have blankets when it gets cold out to watch movies. We keep a basket of rolled up blankets in the family room and basement TV room just for this reason. If doing a movie basket, this is a good thing to include, especially those cheaper fleece blankets. You can find them on sale for under $5 sometimes (smaller type blankets). I got some for $4.88 at Target last year--but they were character blankets for boys.

Re: My Christmas Baskets

I also thought this link was a neat idea to add to a basket, if i have the time i will be adding this to my christmas baskets for unique gift... I though some may be interested...
