&lt;p&gt;1 pkg (3 oz) ramen noodle oriental soup mix&lt;br /&gt;1/4 cup butter&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;1 cut walnuts or pecans, chopped&lt;br /&gt;1 head romaine lettuce, washed and torn&lt;br /&gt;1 16 oz pkg of fresh broccoli flowerets, chopped&lt;br /&gt;4 green onions - chopped (optional)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Salad Dressing:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1/2 cup vegetable oil&lt;br /&gt;1/4 cup sugar&lt;br /&gt;1/4 cup red wine vinegar&lt;br /&gt;1 tbsp soy sauce&lt;br /&gt;1/2 tsp salt&lt;br /&gt;1/4 tsp pepper&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;whisk together - set aside&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Break noodles into pieces. Melt butter in pan over med. heat. Add noodles &lt;br /&gt;to pan saute till lightly brown. Add nuts.&amp;nbsp; Toss noodle/nut mixture with greens. Pour dressing over all &lt;br /&gt;and toss again. Serve immediately.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If I&amp;#39;m taking this somewhere, then I keep everything separate until it&amp;#39;s &lt;br /&gt;time to serve.&lt;/p&gt;
