Trouble posting a new thread?

If you try to start a new thread, but it looks as if the software is "hanging," and won't post, be sure you have a subject line! (Ask me how I know).

There will be a small red asterisk by the subject line when you click the "post" button, but that's all.

Back button not working very well today

The back button isn't working very well for me on the forums today. I'm not sure if it's my computer or something with the site, but I have to keep using the history feature on the back button to go back a page.

Newbie question - why do all my posts have [Edit Tags] at the bottom left corner? I've looked in my profile for some way to not show that. I know that they're used to group posts together, but if you don't specify anything, you still see [Edit Tags] in the bottom left corner of the post.

Line spacing between paragraphs doesn't post

When I write my posts, the line spacing looks just fine. When I post it, the entire text runs together. Is it because the interface with Safari (Apple computer) isn't ideal? Or is there a way to ensure the line spacing? Thanks

Dear ALl, I'm not getting email, this Forum's post or anything on my Freebies site dated today Th the 18th. Firsst,, I went nto Control Panel & saw that it said that it was 3-soomething on teh 17th. I corrected the daate & time & applied. Now te date & time are right on the lower right-hand corner of the screen (IE 6), but I ssstill am not getting anything froom today. Can anyone help? I was wondering if there are any rules about posting pictures here on the forums? I was wanting to post a picture of the Father's Day cake that I am going to make. I noticed that there is a way to post pictures but I wasn't sure about the specific rules about doing so, so I thought before I did anything I'd ask just to be on the safe side.

Dear Pat & Admin, I have 2ce in the past 24 hours gotten such a message when trying to click on a post normally. All I have to do is to click back & then click on the posst aagain to repair the situation, but I thought that you should know about it. I hope that I am describing this right; my memory is so poor. Loading Modal Content

Sometimes, when I am typing a post, the post page will change to "Loading Modal Content" and then say Now Loading but nothing happens and I lose my post. I usually start over but it's frustrating!!

Am I pushing a button or something without realizing it? Can I turn that function off somehow?? I don't even know what modal content is!

I just tried reply twice to a post and it happened both times-giving up for now!

I tried to upload an avatar. Do I need to link it to a url like in photobuckets? All i did was upload a photo from my hard drive? I know that on some other forums for me to have a photo in my sig I needed to have a url for it to link to.

Just wondering as I wanted something nicer than a gray face ;)

For a day or two, before I joined your group ~ access was immediate and I was able to read different areas ~ and thought, what a wonderful site, and joined! But the day I joined and before I did join, access was slow, really slow! Now, after joining and being here a couple of days ~ access takes a long time to get to different threads, within different sections.

Is it your "server" having hiccups? You see..............I don't have access problems anywhere else....
