That's strange. I vaguely remember someone else having that problem, but it seems they found a way to resolve it. I can't remember what they did, though,.

I understand you wanting to 'keep your mac a mac.'

Websites use standard code (html, php, flash, etc) and its your browser's (safari's) job to interpret that code & make use of its functions. The most up-to-date browsers are Mozilla Firefox & Google Chrome. The both follow standard code procedures to the letter. Internet Explorer is a little more outdated. Opera & Safari are utterly outdated.

I know this goes against the 'mac is awesome' mantra. As an internet support person, I encounter it everyday. I'm not a windows person or a mac person. I see the faults in both. I've used both chrome & firefox on this site effectively at home, and internet explorer while at work. This is not a site problem. It may be a browser interface problem, but it is not the forum's job (or any website's job) to keep up with your browser especially, rather to write code in the most standard way so that a greater percentage of people can use it.

Thanks for posting this. I have a Mac so that explains it for me. If I want to address something specifically, I use the quote feature at the bottom of each post to separate my responses. Otherwise I have to endure the entire paragraph thing.

There was a solution at Wordpress and maybe someone with a Mac, who uses this forum, will post what they have done. Thanks for your efforts!

I'd like to contribute here. I have the same proablem, however, I found a rather unusual solution.

And so far the solution I see is, to put quote in between paragraphs.

     Here is an example:

I am now writing my blog. Ha ha!

(hit enter or return once, then  right in this very blank area you click the "Quote button" above your text, then hit enter again)

Ha ha! Hi der! Yor toking loks bery funny. Ha ha!

This should work, because it just worked for me. I also use firefox in my mac. Try it and see what happens. Hope this helps!
