Beware of Chinese Electronics Store on Ebay

    Beware of this company !

Store name, on Ebay is “ Imported Good with Low Price”

Bought items which were defective and contacted them by email.

Reply: Send full name for RMA number. Broken english reply.

I did as directed! Then they asked for the number that they never gave to me!

More useless emails, 7/3, 7/4, 7/11, 7/17 asking for the number and saying they could not find it in their system.  What? Paypal shows the payment to them. I got the Chinese junk! Never again.

    Irresponsible, non-reliable “Customer Service”

Chinese products, run by Chinese  with no consideration for the American customer, take your money and just doubletalk when you contact them !

My advice. Stay away from them! . Don’t believe this?

I can send copies of emails as proof.

The only reason they have a high feedback score on Ebay is that they are a grand 'ol Power Seller listing 2084 items in the store for which big 'ol Ebay gets thier fees on and the percentage of negatives is therefore naturally low.

The buying individual getting the rip off does not stand a chance of recourse because of this little safety valve they enjoy!

The sellers could care less how they treat the customer as they know this is true.

So folks, beware of these foriegn outfits using Ebay and other venues to bilk American people of their hard earned money and getting away with it !

ONLY BUY AMERICAN FROM NOW ON!

BIN THERE, DONE THAT, STILL DOIN !

Ouch! Sounds like you had one bad experience there. "Buying American" is almost impossible any more, but we can at least try to deal only with those who are located in the US. I may be blasted for this, but I'm not too keen on a "global economy," anyway.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

So many of us are in agreement on so many things, Pat.  The "global economy" terrifies me.  AND as a Jew, I do NOT believe that a one-world govenment will be instigated by the Anti-Christ; I believe that there are & will always be folks who can do enough evil on their own.  (We believe that we will know the Messiah is here when "the lion lies down with the lamb," the opposite of what I understand -- probably erroneously! -- of what to my belief is the Christian point of view about the Second Coming.)

Enter His gates with thanksgiving, His courts with praise; give thanks to Him, bless His Name. (Psalm 100)

The "global economy" doesn't really terrify me, but it unsettles me. I don't like what it's pointing to. Do you believe there will be a one world government? ("Anti-Christ" or whatever tag we use, there has to be one person as the head of it.) Close interaction, even to the erasure of national boundaries, is the goal of one-world thought. You can see it even now in our currencies (the Euro), our foreign exchange markets, the ever more vague rules and regulations concerning international trade and increasingly close communications between nations.

Christian understanding of the end times circumstances isn't agreed upon by everyone of us, just as I know Jews don't agree on every point of their beliefs. The only thing we Christians seem to agree on is that Jesus will return the way He left and that He will reign in the end.

Getting from here to there is the tough part. Smile

I believe that the conjunction of multi-nationals & outsourcing from the USA being the creeping, but final, blow to the USA's hegemony will result in huge conglamerategs like Nestle with tentacles all over the world.  Soon they will buy up each other, & 1 will own just about every thing in the world.  Genetic engineering -- did you know gthat there are many patents out on different body organs & DNA? -- will in the not too distant future make all of life (except by Back-to-the-Landers who use heirloom seeds) homogenous.  I believe that all of this is tantamount to a one-world government.  All I disagree with you about is that I don't think that there will be one person at the head, just one company with executives & shaeholders all benefitting & interacting.

You're right in calling that out... not every Christian believes that the Anti-Christ will be one person. A person, a concept, a political organization or a corporation is just as possible. It could all be rolled into one, but we just don't know at this point.

Your reference to DNA reminded me of some teachings I was reading recently. In the New Testament, Jesus said that the last days will be "as the days of Noah." If you read about the last days of Noah (Genesis 6?), it says "the sons of God (or a god?) saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose." Because the genetic pool had been contaminated at that point, God set about to cleanse it by destroying everyone that didn't have a pure bloodline. As in the days of Noah, with the genetic tinkering we're now doing, perhaps it's time for yet another cleansing - this time with fire.

Well, it got a lot more complicated than that, but you see how it supposedly worked together. I'm not sure I buy all of it, but it's interesting to think about.

    Could we live without China?

Some people have tried -- because they're fed up with shoddy goods, scared of tainted products or simply curious. It isn't easy, they say - from the vancouver sun newspaper

Re: buying made in China. There was a recent article about a local woman who decided not to buy anything made in china for her and her family. How hard it is not too.  She looked around her house and saw all the made in china stuff and how things are not made to last anymore. So she gave herself the challenge of not buying anything made in china.

Could you do that? I'm not sure if I could, but I might take a close look around tomorrow. It would be an nteresting experiment, if nothing else.

It would be pretty hard! I think because of all the kids stuff and electronics! Also with my husband being in computers, I think it would be too hard. But we can always cut down.  I did in a way because I like vintage fisher price toys, blocks etc,  and I like vintage and antique furniture lol.

I don't buy toys any more, but electronics would be a problem for me. I'm guessing that there are a lot of other things not plainly marked as being from China (or anywhere else, for that matter).

I like vintage and antique, too. My kitchen, especially, looks sort of retro unintentionally because I just go with what I like.
