Dh loves cold cereal too, but like a dessert before bed. Luckily he's not picky with cereals.

Maybe I can get him to eat more meatless meals! I'll tell him it's a matter of the budget: it's either your PopTarts or 2 days of meat! I wonder how that would go over?

I would try it! My DH response would be "what type of meatless meals?" He is suspicous, lol. He cannot stand TVP or soy/tofu so I can't even suggest that to him. I can do a veggie soup or a tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches but only for one meal. The next day needs to have MEAT, lol. He will also do bean burritos or bean tacos. But again, the next day, there should be some MEAT.

But funny, when he was single, he told me he could survive on cold cereal for 3 meals a day??? Yep, when he's cooking, he's more flexible, lol.

My DH hates all soy-based anything, too. For him, we do bean burritoes, cheesey potato type dishes, etc when we do meatless.

    dining 30

    entertainment MISC 5.28

Groceries 63 (some is non food but I can't remember how much)

    Medical 12

    Farm grain 28

    Savings 50.

Doing bills later. Est. $430 income, phone/ internet 82, charity 40, savings 50, tool bill at hvac supplier 10. I know the truck will need gas in a day or 2 and with gas going back up it may be $40 or it may be $60.

Spent my $50 Meijers gift card on medicines and motor oil instead of groceries, so I'll need to add that to my budget amount.
