Dear Brandy, I might be missing something crucial in the directions for each ofthe 2 organizers, but I think that one has to cut away a semi-circular hole in the front of the box (facign forwards when gluing & when completed) before starting the project.  Otherwise, how would you get anything in or out?  This might just be the dumbest post I've ever written!  Love in Him, Deb

I wish they had a photo of what they intended the completed hanging organizer would look like. Shoeboxes sound like they would work well, but I wouldn't put anything especially heavy in an organizer like that.

For the use of storing shoes in the shoebox one, I have no idea how one would get them in or out. I can see attaching the boxes where they are open side out to make a small shelving unit to store small items though.

I think, from the (badly) written shoe box tutorial, that "gluing long sides together" is making cubbies.

    Make sense?

I'd add one layer of cardboard around the "completed" shelves for strength, and maybe on the back.

I did the same with tomato boxes for all my shelving in my younger years.
