    Secrets of a Jewish baker

Secrets of a Jewish baker, I just saw this title in the King Arthur's baker's catalog...does anyone here own the book. I would like your opinion.

    Thanks!

It's supposed to be a wonderful book. I do not own it.

Why don't you check out the book from a library?

See how you like it when you've checked it out, Joha.  I looked at it one day in teh Library & it wasn't my cup of tea (& I don't recall the specifics, but do know that I don't like recipes that run into every single detail, on for pages.  I'm not saying that is what struck me as wrong with this book, but something did).  Give us feedback on how you lke it.  I would expect recipes for challah, rye bread, bagels, pretzels, mandelbrot (like biscotti), some Passover recipes, & so forth.  If these aren't covered, it isn't a comprehensive book.  Yours in Him, Deb

Jessica's Biscuit has it at a lower price.

Many times I have found that getting a book from the library was better because I didn't like the book after I read it.
