    Guidelines for this community

Welcome to the Dollars Stretcher Community.

We want everyone to feel comfortable,  so, like every good community, there are a few simple rules we all need to follow. Please take a moment to read the following guidelines and keep them in mind as you read and post.

    1. We're a family friendly place. That means that people of all ages are welcome, so please don't post anything you wouldn't discuss in front of young children.
    2. The only group of people who never disagree is a group that doesn't communicate. Communicate! And when you do disagree, please do so politely.
    3. Disagreements sometimes reach far beyond a particular subject, so I have to say this: No personal attacks or argumentative attitudes are acceptable.
    4. Text signatures are allowed, but are limited to 400 characters. Please don't include anything offensive or questionable.
    5. Your definition of "offensive" may differ from ours, so if you ask, we'll be glad to guide you.
    6. No referral links are allowed either in a signature or the body of a post. That doesn't mean you can't post links to your own site or to others if it's relevant to the conversation.
    7. No spamming of any kind is acceptable.
    8. Please don't argue with me or any moderator at any level. If we have to referee a disagreement, our decision is final.
    9. Problems or questions can be addressed to me: pat@stretcher.com, but I don't live here, so if I don't answer right away, don't panic. I will answer.

Have fun, support each other and let's get on with learning more and more about how to control our money.
