Dear All, I have on my shopping list raw pumpkin seeds (I got them from the 2 pumpkins that I've cooked this Fall, but have run out of htat supply).  At Whole Foods, in the bins, they always note the company that has supplied the food.  They sell 2 types of raw, green pumpkin seeds.  One was empty.  The other was labeled "Origin:  China."  Well, you can bet that I didn't buy any at all!  Are others as leery as I am about made-in-China now, especially food-stuffs?  Yours in Him, Deb 

 I wouldn't buy pumpkin seeds from China for two reasons. One is the safety of foodstuffs, not only from China, but from other countries in general. The other is that we have a good pumpkin business right here in the US. Why buy something that has to be shipped from that far, when farmers and producers right here could keep the money in national circulation? I think Whole Foods needs to be taken to task for even offering pumpkin seeds from China.

YEP! I have lessened my shopping at the Dollar General and Dollar Tree because so many products are from China.
