I use the Ranch dip mix to make the oyster crackers and we love it.
I will be using the French onion soup mix in my meatballs for Christmas day.
Barbecue Meatballs
2 lb ground beef
1 egg
1 cup cracker crumbs
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
Sauce
1 oz grape jelly
2 sm or 1 lg bottle tangy ketchup (I use chili sauce, my mom uses cocktail sauce)
1/2 cup brown sugar
Mix ground beef, egg, cracker crumbs, and dry soup mix. Form into balls and brown. Put in crock pot.
Mix sauce toether. Pour over meatballs. Cook 4 hours on low or 2 hours on high.
Cocktail wieners or small smoky links may be used in place of meatballs.
