Cingular Steps Up To The Plate

Two days ago, my son on active duty in the Air Force, passed away. Yesterday I had to take and make so many phone calls both from the military and friends and family that I had to recharge my cell phone 4 times. I had no idea how many minutes I used but I knew it was a lot!

I called  Cingular and asked them for hardship relief due to the circumstances and they gave me two times my normal plan minutes, plus the unused minutes on my son's account.

Sometimes, you just have to ask for what you need, but if you don't ask, you can never receive.

I'm really sorry to hear about your son, I can't imagine how you must be feeling.

Its good that Cingular helped you out, small practical things like that can make a big difference when you are trying to get through something like this. Make sure you take advandage of the Air Force's support systems too. If they are anything like the Army (my husband is in the Australian Army) they have extensive support networks that are available to soldiers and their families.

Thank you so much, I wish I had seen your post sooner. The service was yesterday at 10 AM EST.

I am sure that all would still be grateful to receive your prayers.
