Joyous:
A gift card and catalog to Pensey's Spices
I've never heard of them before. I googled them and found their website. http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penzeys/shophome.html
You can either download a copy of their catalog online or do as I did which is call their 800# and request a print catalog to be sent to you.

It can be very hard to buy Christmas presents for people you aren't super close with and most times, people will still try and find something personalized (which is great) but not if you can't think of something they'd really like. Honestly, when I don't know what to get people, I get them a prepaid visa gift card. Even later when I've admitted to friends that I had no idea what to get them, they usually say the gift card was a perfect idea. That way, you're ensuring they can get what they want. Anyways, that's my 2 cents. Good luck! And I'm sure she'll love whatever you end up picking out.

VNW, if I were you, I would simply tuck $25.00 into a nice card for your nail tech and hairdresser. My dearest friend is a hairdresser and gets more gadgets and things from her clients that she really has no use for as most of them are just token sort of gifts. Right after Christmas, she donates probably 90% of the gifts to Goodwill. She has said many.any times that she would much rather have the couple of bucks that someone paid for a gift that just didn't suit her. Like so many others, the recession has hit and her income has gone down quite a bit.

I see that VNW posted this question last year, but I think you gave an exellent suggestion. A nice card and some cash are always appreciated.

I'm missing something.. an unfrugal gift sounds to me like it would be a small bottle of the kind of scent she likes. If you cant afford the parfum, get a bottle of the eau de toilette spray. Or, if that is beyond the budget you had planned, what about a gift certificate from Estee Lauder? That way she could use it to defray the cost of the scent, or another item she'd like.
