Here's the best educational bargain I've seen.
With a membership to one of the participating centers, you gain free admission to 290 science centers and museums around the world! Some of the smaller museums have a lower annual membership fee and would pay for themselves with a single visit to one of the more expensive museums like Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. There are some restrictions and exclusions so be sure to read the website and always call the museum you plan to visit to be sure that they're still particpating. These include everything from space centers to children's museums.
