Have you ever used them? I was always afraid they'd harm the material or discolor it around the stain. What's your opinion?

 I have used them. They worked Ok on DH white shirts. Didnt feel is damaged the material; My only problem was it dried up before I had used it all. Not sure how long it was on the shelf. Just forgot about it then needed it and it was dry. You do need to follow the directions on how to use it to be sucessful. Babs

I have used them in the past.  but the same thing as babs, you forget about it and it .   A  q-tip dipped in bleach works too.

Did you try pouring some water onto the tip to re-hydrate it? You could stick it in a glass of water, or bleach and water,  tip up and see if it will soak up some water. That might save it from going to waste. Edey

Edey, good idea but I threw it in the trash. DH had talked about one for the office. He is always wearing his food or coffee( which he is not suppose to be drinking)  Babs

I have used them for a few years.  I really like the control I have with them.  I can dab it on a little tiny spot and not worry about ruining the rest of the garment if there are colors near the part that needs treatment.  I only use it on white fabric, however.  I would not use it on anything with color in it.

I love my bleach pen!!! Just don't dab it on the especially dirty spots of widely discolored fabric then forget it overnight or you'll have little perfectly white "clean" spots on your dingy fabric where the dark spots used to be. If this does happen, follow up with a bleach wash or use Redu/rust stain remover to make it evenly white. Obviously, this only works on white clothes.

Thanks for all the advice! I guess I'll try one, if I can find it on sale or cheap enough. Did anyone take the poll? 

I have a couple in one in my DD truck and one in my  van .. we use them when small accidents happen .. my Dh uses it often he's sometimes messy
