My little sister sold her house in VA in less than a month to my surprise.

Thank you. We did take a risk and I was afraid we could be financially hurt if our house didn't sell. Lincoln, Nebraska, has been fortunate to still have a good market. Prices are not super high like they were several years ago but houses are moving, especially houses priced around $175K or lower. And our house was in that range. Our agent said the houses in the $140 to $180K range are selling pretty steadily b/c first time buyers are looking in that range (or lower) and usually don't have a house to sell themselves. That was our situation. Divorced dad with 2 boys looking to get out of his rental and but after his divorce (in 2002). So he has been saving for quite a while for a house. I'm happy there will be kids (even if it's not all the time) in the house and neighborhood.
