More help needed with a passport of my DD

I have since gone to passport canada and was rejected due to the fact that my DD biological father lives in Ont and i have to have him sign it!So anyways i called ontario and got his Mother on the phone, she is not accepting of my DD and this causes problems, She always runs interference on his behalf, and this is a major problem i've always had! so instead of having it done the Free way, with no cost, i am now subjected to going to court to by-pass him. They want me to serve him papers as he is the responded, but since i have no address or phone number for him, (his mom says he lives out on his own and won't give it to me) I have to stand before a Judge and tell him my side of the story and hope he is nice! I need some prayers for this as it will happen Aug 6th BD

Re: More help needed with a passport of my DD

I am sorry you have to go through this.  I had the same problem with my DD,  she got to go on a field trip with school to Norway. My ex is not in my kids lives and is somewhere in New Orleans, it took forever to get my passport.  I had to show that I had sole custody of the kids ( granted to me because he never showed up for divorce court).  I also had to have my lawyer write a letter explaining the situation.  I understand the need for this, but it can sure be a hassle.  I will pray that things work out for you.  Brenda
