    Friday Update--Sick Kitty

Normally it costs me under $15.00 once a month for the Pampered Princess at the vets'. Her wet food is now purchased there.

However........Aurora decided that she was not happy about things. So......she threw up twice early this afternoon. Ick!Then she decided to take a nap in my room.

I had taken my shower and I put on my cat chasing and catching clothes (a very faded pair of leopard print slacks & a tee shirt). I called the little Princess and she gave me an obscene gesture with her front paws. Then I went over to her and I grabbed her furry body. Would you believe I heard loud hisses and growls? She was in my arms while I rode downstairs in my chair elevator. I put her in the carry case and then I went upstairs to get my pocket book.

Her second favorite vet was on duty. This is the vet who describes her as gorgeous. Naturally Aurora was sweet to her while she hissed at me.

There are times when the Pampered Princess tries my patience...... .Wink

One quick kitty exam later I found out that she had gained weight, was in good shape, and had had a shot to calm her tummy.

Including the food her vet bill was $72.72 today.

By this time I was too exhausted to cook. I called Applebee's Carside To Go and got chicken nuggets. I found the $10 Gift Card in my purse. My nuggets were covered by the Gift Card !!!Yes

Oh & the Pampered Princess told me that I am in the Dawg House for the shot Dr. Sam gave her, but she will ultimately forgive me.

Aww, poor kitty.  Only one of my kitties gets sick on a semi-regular basis and it's b/c she'll eat anything.  No matter what I do to keep stuff off the floor she finds something to eat.  I'm glad your kitty is okay.

I got the gift card from calling the 800 number for Applebee's back in June. I was seated for 15 minutes without having a waiter or waitress come by my table to take my order. I complained loudly to Customer Service !

My kitty gobbled her food too fast today.

She was very vocal in the Cat Waiting Room also. There is nothing like a Siamese voice !

I was worried about her. I was afraid that she'd have to be boarded over the week-end. I would miss her. Thanks for the prayers.

Aurora eats like a little pig some days.

She's gained weight since the last time we were at the vets' office.

Everyone in the waiting room thought she was gorgeous. She is a beautiful cat.

I had to do that twice in 2000. I bawled like a baby when I had to put Tigger to sleep. He'd been my fur companion since he was a baby. He was a very sick little kitty. He was my sweetheart and wanted to be in my lap constantly. He was beautiful and so different from Aurora. He was a little old man from the minute I got him. Aurora has been like a kitten ever since the day I got her.

The Pampered Princess took a nap and she woke up a little while ago. She came looking for me.

When my parent's cat, Princess, noticed that they were leaving (this is a couple years ago now) with the suitcases going out the garage door... and me coming over the next day... She would gobble up her food and get sick. (Guess who had to clean that!)  Cats are kind of funny on what they react to... yours is definitely Pampered!!

I agree; your kitty is Pampered.  The things we do for our little fur babies....  Hope she's feeling better, and maybe she has forgiven you for taking her to the vet.

Aurora was not happy at being given a shot, but she did feel better later on last night. She even played a bit.
