I get up and dressed every day. I will admit though that sometimes flipflops are my shoe of choice. I also do not wear lace up shoes to work -- I wear heels 5 days a week and won't change that until the good L-rd or a Dr. makes me! LOL If I'm doing anything more than my 15 minutes at a time of cleaning OR when I run my errands (shopping, laundry mat, etc.) I actually have lace up shoes that I like wearing and they do make it significantly easier for me to get tasks accomplished. I've also noticed that when I feel unmotivated to do stuff that I know should get done I'll put on my lace up shoes and suddenly I feel much more motivated to get the dreaded task done and out of the way.
As for dishes we all try our best around here to get them done as quickly as possible. We have a dishwasher, but b/c there's just 3 of us and the pots can't go in the dishwasher it takes 2, sometimes 3, days to fill the dishwasher. (I won't do a partial load.) So, I'll just make sure there's no food particles on the dishes when they get dropped in the dishwasher.
