I feel like I have to choose often too . . . get some work done or work on the house

    I relate to that strongly.

This morning, I looked around and it drug me down. My son had all his stuff he had brought from Ms piled in the living room while my daughter had some toys scattered on the coffee table. In addition to this my husband had not picked up his laptop and had some work papers on the floor. So I set the timer for fifteen minutes and instructed the kids to begin in one corner of the living room and systematically work their way outward, they were to pick up everything out of place on the floor and surfaces. I gathered the breakfast dishes and began dish washing.

My living room looks pleasant now.
