Deb-I'm sorry you are so upset about your brother but I know you had a good visit.

Virginia N- I used to get the most awful cramps in my foot and toes when I'd shop!  Maybe some Gaotrade first would help?

The Moonlight Madness sale is today so I have to go make out my list.  I will only be buyting the things with the MM coupons so it should be under $20.  I've misplaced my coupon folder and am very upset about it.  I'm so afraid it fell in the trash can by my chair and got thrown away!

Will do a load of laundry when it starts to get darker.  All food from house today.

    re-tired

I thank you all for your concern. I shouldn't have tried going to Williamsburg the same day that I had to  walk a lot at the beauty shop. The hostess at The Trellis had me walk the length of the building to my table. That along with walking 1/2 a city block on bricks was too much for me. Of course, I had to drive out to the watch place because I keep forgetting to pace myself. I keep pushing myself too much.

My hairdresser & my nail tech have been giving each other funny looks about me lately. Usually that means that they are going to bodily put me in a manicure chair just to sit down & relax. The two of them are friends and they geniunely care about me. They fuss at me to take care of myself.

I am doing Mom's laundry today and I think that I will try to relax this afternoon. I won't try to see Mom until tomorrow.

I have put Gatorade on my grocery list. What flavor is good? I have never tried it before.

    Many, many thanks.

The orange and blue are good.   You can get something called "Power aid"  or some other no name Gatoraid and it will do the same for less.

    Thanks.

I've come a long ways since 1995 when I insisted that a Coke and some Oreos made a great breakfast. You should've heard my surgeon on the subject (He put 5 screws & a metal plate in my left ankle) ! My former family doctor howled with laughter at the thought of my telling Dr. B. about Oreos and Cokes. After all, he KNEW how I swore that each eyelash coated with Estee Lauder mascara weighed 7 pounds each.Wink

Not a very good day this morning, but everything is turning out better, got in touch witha family court worker and finally after much listening and many phone calls later,I should be able to by-pass the biolgical father, using aform calle a "vary a parenting order. What this does is basically, tell passport canada that he has no legal rights to her and that we never lived together and he has no gaurdianship rights! yeppee and the worker said also tha if the judge wants to serve him ith papers, tell him you have no mailing address and no phone number, which i don't. So a better day now! and having Hamburger helper for supper, yuck but i have headache from all this stress.

Sounds like you will be ok Bakersdozen. Since you have all the rights. that is the big thing.  At least he can't do what my friends ex did to her. She and family has been going to her grandmas in california for xmas for decades. He had gone in the past also.  Her grandma paid for the plane tickets etc for last xmas.   He gave her the letter she needed stating that she could take the kids.  Then just  a week and half before they are leaving, he takes her to court saying she is not going to bring the kids back to Canada. costs her all the stress, couple thousand in legal fees. etc. long story short. She won, the judge came very hard on him.   He just wanted to s""""w her.  He is an idiot, doesn't pay child support, juvenile, etc.

must be catching, tired too. helicopter and biplane buzzing around ahead woke me up this morning.

keep trying to have a quiet day but no dice.  my friend wanted dd over to play with her dd so she was busy so she could pack. so dropped her off and took ds to a playgroup.  ds painted a picture of a burning building. remains of the fire next to nana's last week I guess.

the leader of the playgroup is getting married in a couple of weeks. a very small one.  I offered her my box of wedding decorations from my wedding tulle, bows etc so she came over and picked it up.  nice to get it out of the house for a good cause :)   I didn't know what to do with them. thought about decoratinng the playhouse with them.

picked up dd and we visited for a while. avon lady dropped the rest of my order off, tshirt set.   washed the couch slip cover with some towels and hung them.

kids had cereal, me a banana,  for breakfast,   sandwiches for lunch. don't know about dinner.  neighbour picked some of my raspberries so at least they are not all being wasted.   community bbq in the park but I think we will go to costco instead.  need to go and they have hotdogs there.  had hershey bar for a snack :)

clouds are rolling in and windy so the heat is going. nice!

DH and I like the ones that say "Rain" on them.  I think there is green/lime, pink/berry, orange/tangerine.  I don't know why but I like those better than the other kinds.

It's a hot day here in the midwest.  We don't  have AC...haven't been sleeping really well-all neighbors have their AC running full blast all night long-it's loud but we're saving dollars.  We laugh on the days when the breeze is cool, crickets are buzzing-only others never feel or hear any of it with their houses closed up and the utility bills climbing.

Should be getting an expense check soon.  DS and DD are working and building their college accounts.  We feel blessed that they each are making money and can walk to their jobs.

    Stay cool.
