    • Slept just ok, not sure why it wasn't restful. From 8pm (I was out before the sun) until 4:30am. Will be napping later sometime.
    • Going out to Home Depot to get a push reel  mower for the condo... the other one leaks gas and doesn't start now.
    • Stopping at my mom's to get a dress altered.
    • Will finally do the load of laundry I keep thinking of tonite before bed.
    • Eating food in house today. Sleep and diet have been weird, as in I don't eat much.
    • AC is going to stay on since it's going to be stormy and muggy and warm. (ick)

LL, I think your sleep (or lack thereof) rubbed off on me last night.  I slept fine from 1030 until 330 and then I just tossed and turned.  And since I didn't go to work yesterday I'll go today, but I may drink some coffee to keep me awake!  My stomach has been upset and I wonder if it's the Aleve my dr. put me on for my knee.  The only meds I ever take are bc pill in the a.m., and OTC migraine meds probably every other day.

Pretty stretchy day here.  Taking DD to my mom's for a visit while I work, so a couple extra miles on my commute, but not much.  All food from home and my mom will feed DD lunch and snacks.  I can't find my menu that I normally post in the kitchen, but I think I am making breakfast for dinner tonight.  I'll have to look around and see if I can find it.  I made a menu for next week; have most everything on hand except the produce, the steak (I buy cheap and marinate it), and the ground beef (93/7 on sale this week).  There are some good sales though, so I'll definately be buying other stuff to continue stocking up before September.  Working out the plan today, but will probably shop on Saturday so I can have a no-drive day Sunday.

Putting the ODD in goddess every day!

Sad Sorry...  I'm opening my Dr.Pepper today so I can stay awake longer.

I can't any thing with Naproxen in it... to me that is a major stomach irritant. Eat food with it if you are unsure of it. (I was on the celebrex and vioxx and had to cut it since I almost had stomach bleeding).

It must be something going around - I've been awake since 4 this a.m. just worrying and worrying (and you probably know how productive that is, ha). My car is still at the shop from yesterday - brakes were messed up but most of the cost is covered by warranty. Still I have to be at work at 3 today, but my husband is playing in a golf tourney, and my daughter works from 10 - 3. So it took me two full early morning hours to realize that my daughter can just drop me off on her way to work and I'll get the car when it's done. I was having all manner of anxiety because I work two full 8-hour jobs tomorrow, back to back and MUST have my car. But ....it will work out.

There was a meeting at my husband's workplace yesterday and they left all the food out for people to eat last night (works night shift) and then they were told they should all take home any leftovers they wanted so my husband packed up containers with deli salads in them - YUM. I love free food.

Do not plan to spend any $$ today at all, and since the golf tourney team that my husband is playing with is sponsored by his work place, his costs will be low - just for refreshments I imagine (I HOPE).

    peace.

Dropped off a bill at the post box this a.m. One of those I have to write a check and mail out. Oh well. It keeps me on my toes! I finally broke down and just bought a roll of forever stamps. I kept buying 20 stamps here, 20 stamps there and while they last about a month, I hated running to the post office as there just isn't one "right on the way" to or from work. So I walked downtown to the post office over lunch one day and shelled out the cash. We try to do all we can online for bills but I still like to send cards/notes to friends and family, especially thank you notes.

Should be stretchy today. Ds age 3 (almost 4) has his first dental appt today. Hope he has good teeth! Insurance covers exams 100% so no money out there, just gas for the drive. Lunch will be sandwiches and dinner will be something made with left over pot roast. Maybe french dip sandwiches.

Supposed to be hot with a chance of showers. I can get a load of laundry outside to hang to dry. A friend dropped of a bunch of boxes to help with packing. DH cleaned out 2 closets and we have another bags/boxes for a family garage sale! Yea!

    AC is set to 78º.

    Hanging laundry outside.

    Eating leftovers.

For all the posting I do, I've never posted in this section. Today I sat down, tallied up my stash and calculated how long certain items should last me. Emphasis on should. We have enough laundry soap, body soap, toothpaste etc to last a year. I'm a visual person and have to see the long term big picture. Coming up short in the pet dept. so I will invest in that area. Did notice on my last trip to Walmart that the cat food we buy went up 15%. Stay home and read or cross stitch (always good entertainment for me).

I got my errands out of the way:

    • Home Depot... got the mower I wanted, just need to get the oomph to assemble it, but I have all day today.
    • Went to my parent's to do a couple things:
    1. had to try on dress that mom is going to alter
    2. found out that my former neighbor passed away (she was going downhill over the last couple years, will be going to funeral on Saturday)
    3. got a duffle bag to use for travel
    4. my mom cut my hair = FREE! Not a perfect salon style but will keep me from going batty. It saved me $13.95. Now will be coloring my hair (box = ~$3).

I AM HONESTLY NOT TRYING TO DEPRIVE ANYONE OF SLEEP!! Angel

    Good Morning All

Today i packed my lunch for work.  My mom made a big batch of tuna and sent some home with me.  I already had the pita bread and salad in the fridge.  DS's have a ball game tonight so will go to that.  Leftover pizza for dinner.  I would like to get some laundry done so i can start to pack.  We are leaving for FL on Sat.  I do have a question about line drying clothes.  I haven't done that before and was wondering how long it took the clothes to dry and if they stay soft? I use fabric softner in the washer instead of dryer sheets.  A/C is on  in the 90's today and humid.  Our thermostat is a programable one so it is set pretty high while we are at work.
