Treasure Hunter; I do understand your point. There are those who are single by choice, singles actively looking,  singles with children, I am a widow so I am single and old 67 and not looking again though a good friend of mine a widow is marring again. Our issues are so very different. we got into that at our church when we tried to have a singles ministry most everybody that came were going to each church that had a single ministry actively looking.

Perhaps you could start a thread for just singles and post could be off that. I could start one with my issues. I don't know I wish we could just post on these forums in a friendly manner. For example I ask if the Debbie Myers green bags worked. I would have liked someone say I have tried them they work. I have tried them they don't work instead on got a lecture on using them will ruin the enviorment. Throwing fruit away would not help my budget

Hi All:

I am 45 live in the Dallas area.  I am single and have never had children or been married.  I live alone with my guard dog (a dachshund who thinks he is a doberman).  I found the "Stretcher" due to neccessity as I have loads of debt ($64,000)  due to student loans which I incurred while earning my graduate degree.  I am however with the many tips here slowly paying it off and hope to be debt free in three to four years. I try to follow Dave Ramsey's advice and I am attempting to be as frugal as possible.  I was very pleased to find this community today and I am looking forward to lots of posting opportunities.
