Re: July cooking with Angel Food

I ordered two packages, tho I'm up to my eyebrows in breaded chicken, lol!  I was interested in the Fruit and Veggie Box, but found I can get it all at Aldi's for approx, $12.00, so I passed on it.

The fajita meat is well-seasoned but was a little fatty last time - just pick thru it after you cook it.  Makes excellent fajitas.  The meatloaf's excellent, the pork filet will go to the grill along with the hot dogs, the beef ribs for soup and the spaghetti and meatballs are always a quick and filling meal.

Interesting on the Marie Callender stuff - anyone try that yet?

The frozen peas and carrots would go well in a cool, summer pasta salad if you run out of ways to fix them, broccoli would go well with a white sauce in the pasta.

As usual, I love the milk and eggs they include and the dessert always gets used...Liz Smile
