Hi, another newbie here. I live in Northeast MI lower peninsula. Livng frugal has become important to me because I have not been able to work since 2004. I had back surgery and have not been able to return to work. I have a small workman's comp weekly check and my DW works locally for a small wage here in the north country. Thank God, we do have health insurance and get by OK. I doubt I have to tell anyone here, but it has become rather difficult to "get by" lately with the fuel, and food prices. Anyway that is why I'm poking around here. looking for tips and offering what I can.......Shredder
