    I'm going back to work

I am going to be helping my neighbor with her husband again starting tomorrow morning. Three days a week. I couldn't do it earlier this summer, but the gal they had helping has health issues and I need the money. Besides, I am kind of partial to the old guy.  :-) So, I guess I will be here even less, but I will be checking when I can find the time.

    Hi Kathy,

Glad you're getting an opportunity to make some extra money by helping your neighbor.  Hope you weren't affected too bad by the storms yesterday/last night.  Most of the afternoon rain missed us, but then we got a storm with hail & winds in the evening.  Luckily it passed thru fairly quickly and didn't do any damage (in our yard anyway).

    Take care, Charlie

Virginianeedlewoman,I help my neighbor take care of her elderly husband. He's 80 and has parkinson's disease. Fortunately he had the brain implant to help control symptoms. He still needs a lot of help as he is weak and can no longer be alone. I do whatever they need to have done. It's mostly about helping him eat, drink, get to bed or the rest room, whatever he needs. Sometimes I help with cleaning things up if need be, but they do have a house keeper that comes in every other week.

    Thanks Babs and Brandy.

Charlie, thanks. I am getting ready to go as I type this.

Same here Charlie, except for hail. Didn't get that. It's a beautiful day today, huh? Low 70's for highs, but warmer the rest of the week.

Yep, it's gorgeous out this morning.  Glad we got the rain.  Things were getting a little dry.

Dear Kabin Kathy, It will be good to have the new income come in, but take it easy if you find that it is physically (or emotionally) too stressful.  Health is more important than money ....  But, I pray that there will be no problems.  Yours in Him, Deb
